Challenges
Now Education had a deadline to achieve for migration to a cloud based application in order to be able to efficiently deliver their service to a large number of schools in the UK. To provide their critical service to Schools in the UK, Consultants needed to be able to respond swiftly to requests and ensure they could get the right people in the right places at the right time.

Solution
MFM-ITs comprehensive strategy
MFM-IT worked with Now Education to understand the requirements of both the overall solution and the implementation itself.
MFM-ITs Project Management team engaged with key stakeholders from Now Education and the Cloud App provider, making sure the project was meticulously planned and executed to meet the tight deadline and logistical requirements.
Utilising Microsoft 365 deployment and security features, Autopilot, and Intune, MFM-IT ensured a smooth transition to the new environment. Autopilot streamlined the setup and configuration of approximately 100 devices in a single day, while Intune provided robust device management, application deployment and security.
The line-of-business application was successfully migrated to its cloud-based version, ensuring seamless integration with the new Windows 11 environment.
MFM-IT provided extensive training sessions and ongoing support to ensure that Now Education’s staff could efficiently use the new systems.
Project Management
The project management team were essential to the success of the project, with a number of interested parties involved both technically and operationally.
Around 100 laptops had to be migrated into Microsofts Entra with Intune management with minimum disruption
Security
Due to the nature of Now Educations clients, security of the system was paramount.
Strict auditing and alerting features as well as threat protection, device wipe and strong user security was required to be delivered
Flexibility
By utilising the latest technology Now Educations National service has even more flexibility, helping Consultants provide top tier responses to their clients whilst ensuring they are protected by the security that the Microsoft 365 ecosystem offers
Results
What has been the outcome?
The transition was successfully completed with Consultants and Back Office staff adopting the new systems and taking it all in their stride.
Now Education are now able to track availability of resources in real time whilst on the go, allowing placements to be completed faster and improving communication throughout the chain with cloud based technology
