Reducing our Carbon Intensity

Throughout our operations we look at ways of reducing our carbon impact.

The Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol set the standard for measuring and managing emissions across three scopes.

Scope 1

Direct Emissions

Reduce Emissions from sources we own.

MFM have begun moving all fleet cars to sustainable fuel and removed the use of Gas in our offices

Scope 2

Indirect Emissions from Energy

Reducing the electricity usage in our offices and datacenters

MFM are working to reduce the consumption of electricity in our offices and changing the way we generate used electricity

Scope 3

Emissions that we're indirectly responsible for

Reduce Emissions from sources we are indirectly responsible such as through our supply chain

MFM are currently working with suppliers on technology that will reduce the footprint of hardware we provide

About Net Zero

Net Zero is a global commitment to reduce emissions in line with climate science and balancing human-caused greenhouse gas emissions with activities that absorb an equivalent amount.

The goal of Net Zero is to limit global warming to 1.5°C, as outlined in The Paris Agreement.

The benefits of achieving Net Zero include avoiding the most severe impacts of climate change, improving air quality, and creating new economic opportunities.
